Strengths: Arguably the processor with the best price to performance ratio on the market, especially when you factor in overclocking. I'm running mine at 3.0 Ghz, but could probably get it up near 4.0 Ghz :)
Weaknesses: CPU fans are still a pain to install :-/ Can't manufacturers develop a hassle-free socket? (Note that I'm using an aftermarket cooler, not the one that comes with the E6600)
Summary: One of the best, most-overclockable processors ever made, at a very reasonable price :) Why buy an expensive Core 2 Extreme when you can just get an E6600 and overclock it to 3.0 Ghz and beyond? :P

Strengths: Incredible speed, amazing multi-tasking, makes Vista fly, great gaming processor, apparently very over-clocking friendly
Weaknesses: If only we could all afford Core 2 Extremes...
Summary: Out of the box this processor is, in one word, flawless. Intel is the crowned champion of processor engineering. After moving from an Athlon64 3000+ with 2GB of PC3200 DDR RAM to this processor with 2GB of PC6400 DDR2 RAM, I'm completely spoiled. Imagine with me, running 2 different programs converting WMA and M4A files into MP3s at the same time with very little performance drop, while ripping CD's to MP3s in another program and torrenting the crap outta some more MP3's. Having the RAM helps, but the Core 2 Duo has yet to have a single hiccup. I sincerely recommend the E6600 for any kind of computing you need to do, considering it is the best Speed vs. Budget solution out there.

Strengths: 4MB cache and lightening-fast dual core processor
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This is a very fast processor. It compliments the new ASUS P5B Wi-Fi Deluxe motherboard that I bought for it. No installation problems. I am very happy with it.

Strengths: Most overclockable and stable proc I've ever owned. 3.6ghz w/out a single prob. I could prolly go higher. Idle @ 45
Weaknesses: None so far. See below
Summary: Some say "socket 775 mobos are buggy". I'm using an eVGA NForce 680 SLI and have experienced nothing but ease and stability. First Intel based system and the fastest/most stable system I've ever built.Thermaltake toughpower 700Evga Nforce 680i SLISoundBlaster XFI Fatal1tyEvga Nvidia 8800GTS x2 (SLI)2 SATA2 WD 80gb 7200rpm raid 1Antec p180bDell 21" Flatand a partridge in a pear tree= 13457 3dmark06 =)
