Strengths: The quality of sound of this player surpases the Creative Labs & Mac iPod hard disk based players (wider frequency range, which now are not listed on most players & db strength for clarity).
Weaknesses: The rotary dial button tends to wear out and break easily, after it does, volume will skip up & down till you spin it long enough to get to the desired volume.
Summary: Sandisk was among the first to deliver a High Quality flash memory player of 8gb or higher, while the rest were still fidgeting with obsolete HD based devices. HDs break, especially when mostly portable. All the stuff you hear about not able to access files, just go to settings and switch to MSC mode when transfering, synchronizing (it becomes a drive on your pc) and switch back when done, simple.I would definitely buy again, but they have to fix the interface or switch to clickable buttons.

Strengths: nice looking player....small and very bright screen
Weaknesses: bad quality....grant it I brought a refurbished one I exchanged it twice but it is supposed to be re-certified. So you think someone is checking them before they shipped them out.
Summary: cheap headphone... don't have it long enough not sure you can fast forward and you have to use conversion software from sandisk to import video.

Strengths: - display is huge- sound is amazing- solid case and design
Weaknesses: - unit a bit heavy compared to what I've had and is out there- a bit heavier than what I've had- proprietary USB cable (can't use the one I have with my Blackberry, Cell or camera to connect to PC)
Summary: I just recently purchased this unit to replace an old RioONE I was still using. What a difference to the antique I was using. Sound quality is amazing, video/picture viewing, FM tuner and voice recorder are great bonuses. Would recommend to anyone looking for an MP3 player.

Strengths: Large memory capacityNice screen
Weaknesses: NO volume controlNo manual except down loadrequires computer to charge batteryno info on extra batteryNO control software shipped with unit
Summary: I was very dissapointed in this device, there is NO volume control, I could not believe that. It is one thing to save the customer money but not to have a way to vary the volume between "normal" and loud is un acceptable. No way to change that battery, any info on this battery is a secret only Scandisk knows about. The unit ONLY charges through a high power USB port not a great solution for a traveler or a person whi uses the unit away from computers.

Strengths: Sound Quality
Weaknesses: Buttons are small
Summary: I have Shure Earbuds. With the Shure Buds the sound quality is great. The FM quality is as good as any system I have at home. I suggest anyone looking for an MP3 Player take the time and check the e200 series out. Great sound good software and cheaper than the IPod
