bit-tech Review
"In the end, Armageddon is clearly flawed in several areas and doesn't come close to making the most of the Wii's unique capabilities. On the other hand it is the best beat-em-up currently available for the Wii and will definitely be of interest to violent nine year olds.
It is the classic trade-off - it doesn't play as well as something like Soul Calibur but could quite easily last twice as long if you focused on getting 100 percent complete. Of course, only die-hard Mortal Kombat fans would put that much effort into a game which is otherwise thoroughly average, balancing off control and game issues with sheer quantity of players and unlockables." - 10th June 2007

Strengths: Vast amount of characters selection, Nice added features and game option, new concept with wii motion
Weaknesses: Wii control motion does not always work properly, Create a fatility does not always work as listed
Summary: Overall the gameplay is pretty good. There are a wide variety of characters to choose from from all your past MK favorites. Create your own fatility is a nice feature...if it works properly. This can also be said with the control motion. Sometimes you do one thing and the game recognize another and it just all end up a mess. It does take sometime getting used to, but I still recommended using either the regular or gamecube controller, unless you want all the headaches with trying to master the control motion.

Strengths: Huge choice of charactersRacing game additionLong campaign modeGreat Multiplayer Options
Weaknesses: The wii controls become complex for special attacks
Summary: This is a great game. The controls do make it harder, but the replay value and multiplayer options make the game worth it. Once the wii controls are learned, the game becomes a breeze. The game is much easier when a classic or gamecube controller is used. This game should be rented first, but if you like fighting games and don't mind using a gamecube controller, this is a must own!

Strengths: Great game, good graphics, nice design
Weaknesses: controls are a bit hard to master
Summary: This is a really good game, but the controls are a bit difficult. The wii controls are good, but may be a bit too complicated for little kids... there is tons of violence in this game, so I would not suggest it for little kids. Fun for the adults in the family.

Strengths: Fun to play, especially against others.
Weaknesses: Wii controls
Summary: Mortal Kombat for Wii is just as good as it for other platforms, if not better. The only problem I had with the game was the inability to control the movements with the Wii controllers. After I went through training mode, it became much easier and much less frustrating. It does take a bit of time to learn, though. If you quickly lose interest in a game based on the complexity, this game may not be for you. If you can get past that, Mortal Kombat for Wii has a lot to offer; unique fighting styles, multiple characters, and endurance mode.

Strengths: It's Mortal Kombat with Wii movement controls! I can FINALLY do fatalities! ;)
Weaknesses: It's Mortal Kombat with... Wii movement controls!
Summary: A lot of the complaints I've read on this game center around the Wii controls for this game. I understand the complaints to a point... they are a bit hard to get the hang of. And they don't aways work perfectly... but it's a heck of a lot of fun when they do! And the best part? I can finally do fatalities! Call me pathetic, but I was just never able to get them to work ont he older games, and now I finally can. Hurrah! For those who really don't like the Wiimote controls, you can use the classic controller or the Game Cube controller to play. There are several different modes of gameplay, including a Kart racer which I just can't help but find really amusing!I think this game is at least worth a rental for Wii owners. To me, it's worth owning, but then I haven't owned this game on another console.
