Rating: Comment: I have sympathy for anyone having problems with an internet company but my experience was that Direct TVs were exceptionally good. A serious initial problem was sorted out promptly an competently by a friendly chap who was available both by email and by phone. The TV was delivered on the day I requested and I was able to track the whole progress via their web site. As well as good service, their price for the Panasonic FreeSat TV I ordered was the lowest I could find - by a decent margin too. |

Rating: Comment: The TV I bought from this mob was faulty from the start. I used their e-message system twice but got no responce.I rang and got conflicting information.I wrote to the head of customer service twice, faxed her boss and still got no reply. They failed to ring back when they said thay would.They were unable to fix the tv, so I was offered a refund to my debit card. However, they told me that it had been submitted through to my bank, but the bank said it hadnt.They then said they would do it straight away. They didnt.It is easy to get good customer service when you are buying something. The test comes when things go wrong.Their website makes great claims about how good their customer service is. "Service" does not appear to exist.I would strongly discourage anyone from taking the risk with this company. |

Rating: Comment: After confirming that a tv stand was in excellent condition it arrived badly scratched and in VERY used condition.I arranged a return date which they failed to honor. Getting through to customer services is abysmal.eMessage system is practically useless. They dont read them properly. They dont return calls.This was my first and last experience in dealing with direct tvs. Compared to ebuyer or Amazon this company is very dodgy. |

Rating: Comment: If you want an efficient, hassle free service in a reasonable time do not use this company.I ordered a Sony Bravia for approximately £670 on Thursday 4th September, I was expecting the TV to arrive the following week, I was told on the phone today (11.07.08) that I wont have my television tomorrow.In short, the delivery company made one phone call to my mobile on the 9th September and didnt leave me a message! They didnt try to contact me again, I wrongly assumed this was because my TV was being despatched as I was advised on the emails I received.Now the the delivery company and Direct TVs are blaming the other party for the mess up and Im left without my television. Id never use this company again. |

Rating: Comment: Terrible company-should never have given them a try.Ordered a TV stand that was delivered reasonably promptly. Unfortunately, the TV stand had had its front door ripped off at the hinges. I did not see this until I had unpacked. I was not happy with this but accepted that these things happen. However, my real troubles began with trying to arrange delivery. In brief summary, the couriers have turned up on 2 occasions without giving any notice (and i was therefore not at home), and i have taken a further two days off work for this collection but not had the couriers turn up as agreed. In addition, when i called up at 4:40pm today to ask where todays courier was, I was put on hold by an assistant until 5pm at which point I was cut off. On calling back, I received an answer phone message saying that their business hours finish at 5pm. Finally, they have refused to give me a refund until they have the product back which is illegal under the Distance Selling Regulations. Avoid!!! |

Rating: Comment: A very positive experience. The website was clear and easy to navigate, and I had no trouble finding the product I wanted. Ordering was straightforward, and security seems to be handled diligently. I placed my order on Friday afternoon, Item was in stock and price very competitive. Status notifications were sent at all the key points, and my product was delivered on Monday morning as promised, well packaged and in perfect condition (also the driver helped unpack and check the item before leaving)!! No problems whatsoever. I have made quite a few online orders with various suppliers, Direct Tvs are one of, if not THE best. Well done and thank you to their kind and helpful friendly staff! |

Rating: Comment: I have to say I was slightly dubious about ordering from Direct TVs after the reviews I have seen on various websites but they did have the 37" Toshiba (37AV504DB)cheaper than anywhere else. I was pleasantly surprised when the courier called me a few hours after I placed my order to arrange a date and time convenient to me for the delivery (As it is a 2 man drop special delivery).My TV arrived 4 days later, the courier unpacked it for me to check it was in working order (and even lifted it onto my TV stand for me). My experience with Direct TVs was seamless it defiantly reassured me that the reviews are worst case scenario and a company that size is bound to experience a small percentage of issues and things are taken out of proportion as regards to bad press. |

Rating: Comment: Personally i have had a really good experience from them, i ordered yesterday, they emailed me to let me know it had been dispatched and arrived this morning, only thing i can fault really is the fact that it took me a while to get through to the sales line! however i can understand this if the service proves to be this good! i shall be using this service again. good communication, reliable and fast service and great product. |

Rating: Comment: WOW is the best word to use with Direct TVs, I had never bought a product from an internet store before and was at first dubious to spend £1000 on the internet, but it was the TV I wanted and because the price was so low I thought it worth the gamble, after placing the order I quickly received an email confirmation and a tel call to book in the delivery and within 4 days I was watching my first High Def movie, the whole experience was excellent and I really would recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a new TV.Keep up the good work Direct TVs and thank you. |
