Rating: Time with product: 2 Weeks Strengths: Auto Rerouting. Weaknesses: A little outdated Summary: As an appraiser I have to drive around and go to many subdivisions. Most online mapping resources are hopelessly inaccurate and this program is a pretty good substitute. Only two complaints. One, the mapping data is a little old. I just unlocked the most recent data from the garmin website and some roads that are almost 8 years old aren't showing up. As long as you know a nearby intersection this problem is avoided. I'm just surprised the data is updated more frequently. Two, sometimes the software will tell you to go down a wrong exit. Recently it told me to exit north onto a major hwy only to take the next exit and make a u-turn and go south on the same hwy. In the end this is much better than mapquest but not as updated as Yahoo maps. |
