Its small, light-weight design makes it perfect for taking on the road. The BC-TR1 charges the NP-FT1 to normal levels in about 80 minutes. It has a built-in AC adapter, so no external cords are required. The BC-TR1 charger is compatible with the DSC-T1 and NP-FT1 Sony batteries.

Summary: This is useful accessory for Sony cameras that didnt come with the charger. it charges the battery in 2 hours and is good for keeping spares charged. works as advertised, but is on the costly side. i lost mine so i had to get this. i am very satisfied with it. it works for a bunch of sony cameras so check your model before buying.

Strengths: Recharges battery quickly
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I received the charger quickly from Shentech. The unit was slightly different as pictured. (rather than the unit plugging into the wall, a cord is used). The real advantage is to be able to charge your battery outside of your camera. I have a spare battery so I can charge one while still using the camera. The unit input is rated at 100-240v & 50-60 hz.

Time with product: 1 Months
Strengths: small and compact size. easy to carry(you can fold and hide the plug(hook) and flip it out)
Weaknesses: none.
Summary: I have DSC-V3(battery type: NP-FR1) and think that it should come with camera. (even though you can charge battery with camera connecting to the power directly) However, in case of travel or staying in public space, it's kind of uncomfortable to leave your valuable camera on the open space. so this charger is a necessary and excellent accessory. (Lastly, if you carry additional battery, to purchase this item is highly recommended.)

Strengths: Portable, compact, easy to use, no cords, genuine Sony product = well made,
Weaknesses: none itself except it'll cost you from $40-$70 depending on where you go buy it from
Summary: This should have came with the DSC-T1 camera, but it didn't so I had to shell out $53.99 + tax at Circuit City online. It's usually $59.99 but I got a web special on it, and I had a gift card to burn. Anyways, I recommend this to anyone who has the DSC-T1 mainly just because you NEED a compact charger for your compact camera. And if your using the AJK-THA active case for the camera, then you don't have to fuss over taking the camera out of the case to charge and then putting it back on. Also, you can use the camera and charge a second battery at once. BEWARE THOUGH !!! THERE ARE CHEAP KNOCK-OFFS OUT THERE THAT ARE BEING SOLD THAT COME IN THE SAME STYLE EXCEPT IT'S NOT CORDLESS MEANING THERE'S A POWER CORD THAT YOU USE TO SEPARATELY ATTACH THE CHARGER TO THE WALL OUTLET. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT A PICTURE OF THE CHARGER WHEN YOU SHOP ONLINE.
