Weaknesses: Just a little bit pricey but they always are. Could have been just a bit slimmer to eliminiate vignetting at ultra wide angle. Summary: The best protection for your pro-grade Nikon lens. Unlike cheap lens you will be really impressed by the lack of vignetting and ghosting. In wide angle there is just a hint of small ghosts near the light sources. Also cheaper filters tend to get stuck and its a pain trying to take them apart. These are firm but at the same time will easily unscrew. The glass is multi coated to reduce flare. This is certainly the best that a protective filter can get.
