If you were looking for a character to associate with Nintendo and the Game Boy, the likelihood is that today you'd say Pokmon--but that hasn't always been the case, and in Super Mario Advance Mario, the once king of Nintendo, is making a comeback on the next-generation Game Boy Advance.
Based on the age-old formula of the Super Mario Brothers series, you play the usual host of characters from Mario himself to Princess Peach and even the little mushroom guy. The basic premise is fairly simple: run along the simple platforms, kill the bugs and monsters in your path, and get to the end. It's a game that's very easy to understand, yet not one that's easy to complete, and, like so many games before it, makes you want to come back for more every time. And with over 30 odd levels, it's sure to keep you busy for that time.
A great title for all ages, Mario will please grown-ups and children alike as they enjoy the cute graphics and the catchy soundtrack. Probably one of the biggest titles of the Game Boy Advance launch, Mario is one of those games that you just have to have in your collection. --Jason Denwood
