Rating: Time with product: 2 Months Strengths: Challenging strategy Weaknesses: Presentation Summary: If you're just entering the world of Advance Wars, this is a solid title to begin with. It presents you with the very challenging strategic warfare that you'll deal with in the rest of the series, without some of the more advance twists of the later games. However, going to this game after playing Advance Wars on the DS left a lot to be desired, primarily the use of the touch screen. If you have a choice, play this one first! |

Rating: Time with product: 14 Days Strengths: Good graphics. Nice implementation of gameplay for a turn-base strategy game on the GBA. Weaknesses: None. Summary: Good turn-base strategy game for the GBA. Many units and commanding officers to control with different abilities. Graphics for battle scenes are pretty nice. Can play against each other with up to four players on one GBA. You just need to exchange the GBA between turns. Many levels so will keep you occupied for a while. Can get difficult at times, but the tutorial is very helpful in training you in the gameplay. If you like this game, you will also like Fire Emblem, where you get to keep your characters for the entire game unless they die. |
