Strengths: Cool retro design, free XBLA games, decent functionality
Weaknesses: Wired, cheaply made, feels awkward, spinner control not well implemented or widely supported
Summary: It looks like a controller straight from the days of retro gaming -- and it feels about as good one. The Arcade GameStick, which is now discontinued, is not worth more than $20. Luckily, many stores are clearing it out for around that price. For less than 20 bucks, it's not too bad, especially since you get three decent XBLA games with it. The problem is, the controller doesn't feel great or perform all that well. Worse, the unique spinner control is underutilized, while the remaining controls lack quality (though the digital pad is slightly better than the one on a standard 360 controller). At least the controller's turbo feature lets you score big in button mashers...

Strengths: Decent arcade stick, includes 3 XBLA games, works on PC and 360
Weaknesses: Not wireless, D-pad passable-to-bad
Summary: The MadCatz Arcade Stick is a decent joystick designed primarily for XBLA games. It comes with three included games, AstroPop Deluxe, Frogger and Time Pilot, so there's a few games to start out with. The joystick assembly is decent enough, though it's better for games other than fighting games. The D-pad leaves a lot to be desired, and not being wireless isn't a help. It works on both PC and 360, being USB, and now that it's down to a cheap price, the included games almost make it free. It's not perfect, though does a decent enough job on it.

Strengths: Comes with free games
Weaknesses: Is not wireless
Summary: If you can find this arcade stick at a bargain price, it is totally worth it. It comes with 3 free games(Frogger, Timepilot & Astropop). I actually found the d-pad on this better than the one of official controllers. One of the big negatives is that this is a wired stick. Also you cannot just hold it in your hand & play comfortably. It needs to rest on a hard surface for best results. I have heard that you can connect it to PC through USB & have not tried it. All in all it felt like a good purchase.
