jade654	Rating: 10 Time with product: 3 Weeks Strengths: This camcorder has a great picture. The video is very sharp and colors show up well. Also, the ability to take a "snapshot" from the footage as you shoot it is a wonderful feature. Weaknesses: I wish there was a way to have the flash on while you film. The camera feature of this camcorder is a little lacking; however, I bought it for video (since I already own a Sony Alpha A100). Summary: Overall, this is a great video camera. It is light, compact, and shoots awesome footage. I bought this just in time for the arrival of my first child and I don't regret a dime of it's $1,200 price tag. (however, I do think it's a bit high). The ability to convert the video file into an Mpeg2 or Windows media file is great for sharing video over the internet or to those who don't have HD/blueray DVD players. I would stay away from the SR10, as the video processors are not as good; and the SR12 has the same specs as the SR11 but with more hard drive space (120 gig) for about $300 more...but with 60 gigs, the SR11 fits my needs perfectly. It's a great buy.
