Pok?mon FireRed and LeafGreen are set in Kanto, the region where Pok?mon took root and exploded into a major phenomenon, and the latest titles stuff in tons of exciting features. When you get your copy of Pok?mon FireRed or LeafGreen, you'll also nab Nintendo's cutting-edge peripheral: the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter. Pok?mon FireRed and LeafGreen are the first games to venture into the wireless gaming realm on the GBA.When used with the Wireless Adapter, Pok?mon FireRed and LeafGreen make you the hub of a thriving wireless community of Pok?mon players. Time with product: 6
Strengths: Lots of extra content. Excellent game design that still works.
Weaknesses: Lots of random battles.
Summary: Pokemon FireRed is an excellent remake of the Game Boy Color classic. As before, there are lots of Pokemon to catch, and the journey to the top is fun. In addition, a whole new chain of islands is added after you beat the game, which adds substantially to the length of the adventure. If you like collectible monster RPGs, this is an excellent game for you. If you don't like random battles and leveling up, you should look elsewhere.

Time with product: 6 Months
Strengths: comes with wireless adapter, hours of fun,a fantastic adventure, and raising your own pokemon
Weaknesses: if you want to catch all of the pokemon then you need to get pokemon leaf green
Summary: I love this game because there is so much adventure in the world of pokemon. Solving mysteries, catching rare pokemon, winning battles, and being champion is only the beginning of all the pokemon games. Become the best trainer ever and win over the elite four. Be victorious in the world of pokemon!!!

Rating: 10
Time with product: 9 Months
Strengths: All the features of the original Pokemon games, plenty of replay value, extra content.
Weaknesses: The main part of the game will be very familiar to anyone who played a lot of the original Pokemon Red
Summary: Pokemon Fire Red is an updated version of Pokemon Red for the original Game Boy. Fire Red has a completely overhauled graphic look, adding full color, new music, and other enhancements for the GBA. The core gameplay is the same as original, but the addition of seven new areas, some new Pokemon, and a Battle Tower make this game a worthwhile purchase for series fans, and a great way for new players to familiarize themselves with Pokemon.

Time with product: 4 Weeks
Strengths: Much longer level play, Very fun, Very good graphics
Weaknesses: Higher priced compared to other pokemon games (excluding leaf green)
Summary: I can't seem to put this game down. It is very intense game play. In the Fire Red version you can catch Ho-Oh, Lugia and Dexoys, but you can't catch every pokemon on your old pokedex. It's also hard to get to island 9 because you have to do something difficult that I haven't been able to figure out yet. My overall opinion of the Fire Red version for Gameboy Advance is very favorable and I would really recommend this for any fan of the Pokemon games.
