Rating: Comment: I received a refurbished 60 GB Ipod with the extended life battery. I fully charged it for more than 3 hours. It played one song and stopped working. I tried calling their 800 number but kept getting the automated runaround. Next, I attempted several times to contact their online chat, but it kept saying a representative will be with you shortly. Then, I emailed the director of sales who asked if I wanted to exchange the item. I told him that I wanted a refund and he never responded. I called the 800 number again and finally spoke to a human being who sent me a shipping label. This person said they must receive the Ipod back before they can issue a refund. I ship the Ipod back and they sent me another Ipod. I contacted the online help and they said they could not issue a refund because I did not make a claim until 14 days after the product was received. All-in-all, I have experienced bad customer service from IRepair Squad, I would not do business with them again. |

Rating: Comment: I purchased an Ipod from iRepair and it came as promised but the item didnt work properly all of the time, it didnt always connect properly with the computer. I looked up the return policy (because I didnt want something that only worked part of the time) and it said to fill out an RMA which I did and there was NO mention of a restocking fee. I have been going back and forth with their customer service since May 18 through today (June 4). In that time, they put up their 20% restocking fee policy on their website (the customer service rep said it was always their policy its just that its up now on the website). So I finally got word back today that when they plugged the unit into their computer it worked on the first try (mine worked on the first try, just not on the 10th or other tries) and so they were keeping 20% of my refund (on top of keeping the shipping charges even though I had to send it back to them). Only 1 of 4 customer service reps were nice. I will never buy again. |
