Comment: AWFUL!!! Awful customer service. UPS sent the product to the wrong address and Partstore is charging me for the shipping.Theyre claiming its my fault because I put the apartment number in the wrong place, but thats bogus because all it has is "Address 1" and "Address 2". Theyre just cheapskates and they dont understand good customer service.I hope the $7.95 you saved is worth the negative taste you left in my mouth.

Comment: PartStore connects manufacturers parts departments to individuals who need parts. Depending on the size/availability of the part, you may receive your part directly from the manufacturer or from PartStores warehouse in Florida. This arrangement can lead to significant delays in order fulfillment. I ordered two parts - a remote control and a transistor chip. The remote was in stock at PartStores warehouse and shipped promptly. On PartStores website, the transistor chip was shown as "usually ships in 4-6 days" (i.e. not in stock). More than three weeks passed before I finally received the chip, because it was shipped from the manufacturer (Arizona) to PartStore (Florida) and finally to me (Illinois). Given the delay I experienced, I am hesitant to order from PartStore again and would prefer ordering direct from the manufacturer. I am also turned off by the fact that PartStore charges sales tax in all states, even though their offices are in New York and Florida.

Comment: I tried to order what I thought were replacement pads for my Sony Studio headphones. Their site would not process my address. I then called them and specifically TOLD them what I wanted and they said because I didnt do it online ...it would be $10 shipping + tax. After several days it became backordered..? A week later they then sent me a letter size slip of paper in a UPS bubble pack which they called a manual and it was non-returnable. Phone call to them indicated $35 more would be needed for the correct item. $25.53 for a slip of paper manual for 5 year old headphones that I didnt order sent in a UPS bubble pack? Please stay away from these scam artist!!!!

Comment: Our order was placed on December 27th, 2007 but did not get acknowledged or sent an update until January 2nd, 2008. The order was finally "shipped" on January 14th, 2008 although FedEx did not have a package to track until the 16th and it was not delivered until the 18th. Although I understand we did not order with rush service, that is an exceptionally long time to deliver a pair of DVD drives.As for the order... our company ordered two Plextor 716 slot load DVD writers, but we received a pair of Plextor 800 series junk drives. The 800 series is cheaper, functions poorly for dual layer writing and does not have a slot load version available... overall the completely wrong drive.We have attempted to correct this order three times over a two month period without success. Between slow response, unavailability of personnel and odd requirements for us to talk to a "special" business department to fix our order, their customer service has been horrible.Will not shop here again.

Comment: They claim to have shipped the ink cartridges, but have no tracking number. I am four calls into this, with nothing changed, no product, no credit. Now I have to dispute the charge with Mastercard. What clowns.

Comment: I feel like an idiot for not heeding the advice of other reviewers. Ordered a part on the first of January, got an email 6 days later saying it was backordered until the 16th. The 16th came, no email updating status, so I called. They told me it was in and would be shipped in 3 business days. called today (the 24th) and they said it was backordered until the 30th. I canceled the order, and they said theyd try to get the cancel request to shipping before they send it off. Cmon, it doesnt take 6 days for a cancel request to be processed! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!

Comment: Ive been looking for the lamp to my 6 year old projector and I cant seem to find it anywhere. Until I found PartStore. They have a wide range of parts, easy searches and best of all they have a ton of parts for a ton of different appliances and electronics.Fast shipping and great customer service. Awesome seller, will definetely purchase from again.

Comment: I had a positive experience with this vendor. I called them for a discontinued/hard to find part that I needed very quickly. They rushed it from a branch warehouse to their warehouse and then had it over-nighted to me and they were awesome with follow-up. I would order from them again. Word to the wise though...Always ask them to check the warehouse for stock before you place the order. Most of these kinds of vendors are not great about keeping their inventory systems updated. I see it everyday in my line of work!

Comment: I wish I would have read the other reviews about partstore.com before I made my purchase. I ordered a TV stand that came in 2 parts, the first was shipped immediately but the second was back-ordered (which I was NOT told when I made the order.) 2 weeks later the "est. ship date" changed to additional two weeks, I called and was told it was coming. Then the date was moved back yet again, and again. Meanwhile I made a call to the company and spoke to a supervisor about the constant delay (still not able to utilize the first part I received since its a 2-part TV stand assembly.) The supervisor told me it was coming and if not, that I could return the first part. When the date changed yet again for the back-ordered second part, I called to return the first part and cancel my order. BUT, I was informed that I could not return the first part since it had been past 30 days since I received it and was now "out of the return window." Now, Im stuck with half an assembly for a TV stand. SUCKS!

Comment: WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. BE CAREFUL. I asked if a difficult to find part was in stock and was told it was "available". I was then told later, after the part was backordered, that their policy is that their "associates" are not allowed to state if a part is in stock or not, just available. This means if they can get a part, then it is available. Then, after shipping the item poorly, it arrived broken and I was recharged shipping tax and it actually cost me money to return the item and get a new one that wasnt broken.AWFUL COMPANY THAT IS DECEITFUL AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
