Comment: It appears my unit was given a standard reply of DVD Inop. please pay for the service. Of course this was not the issue, my contact with the repair contact said no problem on the fix but this was not the case. In my view this company wants you to send in your unit and then make you purcase a refurb unit, of which they make from the parts most people give them when they are told their units are not repairable which is what they told me. I have requested they return my unit and refund my repair cost but they do not reply. I requested the return may 29, almost a week. This is unexceptable customer service.

Comment: I got my disc drive replaced promptly. However, when I received it, the drive was giving the same error as when I sent it in and the "New" drive was scratching the discs I put in it, in a circular pattern. It even ruined a brand new game. I e-mailed the company about this two full weeks ago and have still not heard back. I understand this may happen from time to time, but to not hear back for two weeks about a serious issue is bad. BEWARE - very poor.
