Summary: Yellow warning light comes on every 9-12 months, but I still have several weeks before it turns red giving me time to find a replacement. Use Pricegrabber.com or e-bay to find he best deals on replacement filters.

Weaknesses: Summary: Immediately after installing the cartridge, the water from my refrigerator started running smoothly and the taste was once again good. It was very easy to install the cartridge and I am glad to have better tasting water again.

pbmax91	Rating: 8 Time with product: 3 Days Strengths: Easy to install (as long as you turn it the opposite direction it says to) Weaknesses: Pricey (but it seems most of the water filters out there are) Summary: The MWF is quieter than the old model. I hadn't changed my filter in quite a while and finally decided to do it. What a difference in the taste. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. It tastes so good!

bmarantz	Rating: 6 Time with product: 4 Years Strengths: easy to install, water tastes great Weaknesses: price, does not last 6 months Summary: I recommend this product but with the following caveats. I wish it would last longer. After only 2 or 3 months the flow of water is greatly reduced. By 5 months it is merely a trickle. So figure this product will cost you about $100 per year to clean your drinking water. If you already own a GE refrigerator that requires this filter it's not like you have a choice.
