Weaknesses: Will not install on some Windows XP systems for no apparent reason. Tech support blames your system, although they do not have Windows certification. Sluggish performance once it finally installs. Summary: Unless you have to use this software for corporate reasons (like me), I would strongly suggest finding a different contact manager. The software would not install on some of our Windows XP systems without employing various tricks. It stops working on a regular basis requiring similar tricks to get it to reinstall. I believe this software does not have Windows certification because they could never get it.

Summary: making the mistake of upgrading... the last respectable version of ACT! was 2003. Each incremental upgrade adds features, but consistently introduces way more bugs and problems. I have had tremendous issues simply installing/uninstalling the software, and I am not alone. Purchase ACT and at best you'll get a headache; at worst you'll need antidepressants.
