I am sure it is helping with my electric bill. Easy to install. Weaknesses: Have not found any. I thought with the wires in the back of it one might think it is hard to install but I found it easy. Summary: I would say go get this. With the high cost of electric it is not not to cool a empty home and nice to come home and find the unit has kicked in and started to cool. I am very pleased. Very easy to use and looks nice on the wall.
