Summary: very satisfied with the price and the product i purchased . i was trying to purchase quickbooks 2006 on ebay with noluck . they were too expensive!. then i came across pricegrabber and i was successful .

Weaknesses: complex in the use of the software initially

Summary: I like the software but do not like the idea I have to pay more for payroll. I do not like this review process where I can not be short and sweet with my comments. It is too time consuming for me to keep editing.

Summary: Quicbooks 2006 does almost the same thing it did in 99 - save all the extras like credit card processing and online banking etc. If you only need it for bookkeeping and accounting it's almost the same. But the program has exploded so that loading and initialization and reports etc take longer and longer. Maybe they should concentrate on speed in the next version. Like click on the icon and the screen opens immediately like in the old days.

Summary: I have just become familiar with Quickbooks - after years of using Peachtree. I don't have any formal accounting education, but I can tell you that because of Peachtree Complete Accounting, I know how to handle all aspects of Full Charge bookkeeping. The company I now work for has a set of books that is an absolute nightmere! Quickbooks is not a true balancing - double entry accounting system. It is easy to make mistakes, but difficult to correct them once they are made. Both systems probably don't have the best customer support, and both will cost you in the end. Your accountant will charge you plenty to fix the mess that Quickbooks will produce for Your Company.
