Strengths: Reduce tap water bad odor and taste. Easy to install. Quick change filter change
Weaknesses: Noisy during none filter mode
Summary: I use it for cooking, for coffee water, for cleaning. The faucet works very well. Taste and odor are different before and after. Installation is easy. It just screws on the faucet. To change filters, take old one out and a new one in. The indicator light resets automatically. For none filter mode for sprayer the unit make a lot of hiss noise.

Time with product: 6 Years
Strengths: great product, easy to install, water tastes clean, excellent features...sprayer, solid flow and filtered water
Weaknesses: sometimes it seems as if the replacement filters last longer than others, I use this filter everyday..all day.
Summary: This is my second faucet system, the other one lasted about five years. I can not imagine not having one. The filtered water tastes fresh and clean and you have the option not to filter water when not needed in two ways, sprayer or even flow. I think this is an excellent product and will continue to use it for years to come. It also saves on having to purchase bottled water and the extreme waste of so many plastic containers. We had a summer of drought and the water tasted like mold all over Tennessee, even thought it was safe to drink it had a fowl odor and taste. My water filter took that musty odor and taste from my drinking water. I recommend it highly.

Strengths: easy installation; filter replacement indicator; looking nice on faucet
Weaknesses: need to replace the expensive filter frequently
Summary: I attached this filter system to my kitchen faucet in less than 10 minutes (I used one of two adapters the package included). After flushing the carbon powder out of the filter (running water through the filter for 5 minutes), it was ready to use. This thing looks nice on the faucet. Every time I get filtered water, the green light flashes a couple times to indicate that it is working fine. The indicator turns red when the filter needs to be replaced. The manual says to replace the filter every 100 gallons or four months, whichever comes first. The filter is very expensive, around 20-30 dollar. You may get it cheaper buying multi-filter package.Since you need filtered water for drinking water, humidifier, and other health equipment, this system is a must have. Once you buy it, get ready to spend a lot more on replacing filters.

Strengths: SMALL (FITS TO BATHROOM WITHOUT PROBLEM), EASY TO SWITCH TO FILTERED, TASTES GOOD, ELECTRONIC FILTER LIFE INDICATOR
Weaknesses: ELIMINATES LESS CHEMICALS COMPARED TO COMPATITIVE BRAND
Summary: One week after moving to a relatively older apartment site, I have seen redness (sensitivity) and small whiteheads (pimples) appearing on my face. I had this $3000 filter at my previous place and I didn't have any of these just a week ago. So I think I know the benefits of having clean water from first-hand experience. I immediately thought of putting a small filter for the bathroom use. Practicing Muslims use water a great deal in their daily lives. Before our daily prayers (five times a day) we wash our hands, mouth, nose, face, arms, wet our head, clean ears, neck, and wash feet) so having so much interaction with water makes clean water a necessity at least for the facial area. I've the competitive's 3-stage horizontal filter for my kitchen faucet for drinking/cooking. But it definitely doesn't fit to bathroom sink due to its large and rotating design. But Brita came perfect with this small filter with an easy switching mechanism. Thanks to Brita's brilliant and stylish design, when you need the filtered water, you'll simply need to rotate the switch with your finger. When you don?t, just put it back into tap water station. Furthermore, it comes with a third option that makes your tap water spray. That's an extra feature I really liked. Moreover, it has an electronic replacement warning which I find very neat. It definitely gives you an increased feeling of safety compared to the mechanical indicators. I had to let a few gallons of water run before I convince myself that my kitchen filter really works :). And one other good thing's, although Brita looks smaller, a new filter filters 100 gallon of water which is the same as my larger kitchen filter. I had to buy an extra 3/4" hose adapter from the local hardware store to fit Brita into my bathroom faucet. But I must give credit to Brita as it fits to my "Kitchen" faucet right out of the box. (The comptetitor's horizontal filter needed the same adapter even for the kitchen.) Coming to performance, the competitor's 3-stage filter filters slightly better and eliminates more chemicals (like Attrazine). So, for drinking and cooking I still use my the kitchen filter. It's the only reason for me not to replace my kitchen filter with a Brita. I hope Brita will come up with a shower filter as I also know filtered water makes your hair much softer. I'm a guy and even I approve this message.
