Rating: Time with product: 14 Days Strengths: It actually works and the cotton candy is great. Weaknesses: None Summary: We bought this machine for my husband for fathers day. What a great little gem this is. We have only used it twice but so far it is great. It does take about 10 minutes for the floss to start coming out of the machine but overall it works great. You really do not get a lot unless you keep feeding it more sugar but we have little ones so the smaller amount is perfect for them. I think this is a great little at home fun night machine may be even a small sleep over but thats it...This has also doubled as a science project for the kids. |

Rating: Time with product: 9 Months Strengths: It makes really good light fluffy candy. Weaknesses: It takes a long time to get a substantial amount. Clean-up is a pain! Summary: This machine does actually work, but be prepared to invest a fair amount of time. The sugar that comes with the machine is really good, and can be purchased on-line. You can use table sugar mixed with Koolaid, but it doesn't taste as good IMO. The machine sometimes shoots sugar granules, so don't ware good clothes. The first unit I had overheated the sugar and made a huge mess. The on-line store I purchased it from sent a replacement that works good. Overall, I'm glad I bought it, but I got a really good price. |
