Rating: Time with product: 3 Days Strengths: the price, stylish exterior design, spacious inside, silent, very light & easy to move (if needed) Weaknesses: there is no counter-depth version of this fridge as part of the Silver Mist Frigidaire line Summary: I purchased this fridge mainly because of the price I paid to get all new stainless steel appliances for my kitchen (under $2,000 for 4 pieces). I had been looking around for a set of stainless steel appliances for a while now and was very pleased when I found the Frigidaire Silver Mist line at Best Buy (they had the line on sale with extra discounts so I was even happier). This fridge has all the features I was looking for: side-by-side doors, water/ice filter, plenty of room, and it's the new type of stainless steel. I've only had it for a few days but I love it. It is a bit too big for just one person, and I wish they would have a counter-depth version of it. I don't have kids so the fingerprint proof feature was not necessarily a selling point for me, but I tried to leave a fingerprint and didn't find anything afterwards :)I'm not going to give it a 5 star because I'm sure that there are better (and more expensive) fridges out there, but I think that for the price that I was looking to pay for stainless steel appliances I got the best value. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Strengths: Very roomy, looks awesome, nice water/ice dispenser Weaknesses: Prone to smudging, little loud at times Summary: Got this as part of a $1999 4-piece stainless steel kitchen set. We'd been looking to upgrade to SS for a while now, and for the money, you really can't beat that set. Anyway, the fridge is without a doubt the best part of the package. It looks great and has plenty of interior room. There are three shelves, a meat/dairy pullout, and a veggie pullout. Two of the shelves end up being tall enough for gallons of milk, 2-liters of pop, etc, so my wife and I have enjoyed that. It's also an Energy Star compliant fridge, so we felt good about buying it. As far as the "anti-smudge" exterior goes, I haven't been quite as pleased with it as the previous poster. We have to wipe it down almost daily, as it really does get filthy. We have a two-year old, however, and no SS appliances are totally smudge resistant...overall, this one isn't bad.All in all, we're happy with the fridge and hopeful it'll last us a long time as it looks great! |

Rating: Time with product: 4 Days Strengths: Very spacious. Beautiful exterior - love the 'no smudge' feature. I love the exterior water/ice dispensor. very convenient! Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet! Summary: The fridge was a great deal and seems to be of great quality. I have been very impressed with how nice it looks. Although this fridge was on the lower end of the price spectrum I was looking at - I think it looks just as nice as the higher priced ones! The 'silver' outside is resistant to smudging - such a cleaning relief! It has tons of room - It's nice to be able to have some room to spread out. Great item! |
