Time with product: 3 Years
Strengths: long cord...that's about the best thing I can say.
Weaknesses: I have had this vacuum almost 3 years and I replace the belt almost every time I use it. It tips over when using the hose attachment and the tube into the bag blocks very easily.
Summary: As if vacuuming weren't punishment enough, having to use this piece of heavy, temperamental garbage makes it worse! I am so tired of stopping to change the belt, stopping to unplug the hole going into the bag, trying to find those expensive hepa bags.....ARG. I'm replacing it tomorrow!

Strengths: Lots of power and like long cord. Also like self propelled on this model.
Weaknesses: Short hose. But can order longer one.
Summary: Replaced my 20 year old Hoover concept ll model. This one about same weight so am used to it.Got at good price and paid less than I did 20 years ago. Had about 1 wk now and like it.Lots of power and like all the features on it.Like hoover for service and easy to buy parts and service.Would buy again. Some other brands more pricey and harder to get parts & service for.

Time with product: 2 Years
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Pricey, self-propelled doesn't work, belts need replacing continually
Summary: This sweeper is a piece of junk. Just wish I had read reviews of other users before buying this turkey. Although highly rated by Consumers Reports (and that's why I bought it in the first place), it has been a terrible experience. Just bought a Kenmore today, and what a difference! Hoover needs to either reengineer its products or go out of business!

Time with product: 1 Day
Strengths: Self propelled feature works great!
Weaknesses: Heavy when you are not using the self propelled.
Summary: This is the second windtunnel vaccuum cleaner that I have bought in the last 8 years. I would by a third one, and a fourth, and a fifth! This is a great product

Time with product: 5 Weeks
Strengths: Great suction for carpet cleaning
Weaknesses: The self propel feature is not adequate for general use. The attached hose extends only about 3 feet so not good for general cleaning and the unit weights too much for the average woman.
Summary: I have always used an Electrolux canister cleaner but as my 26 year old relic is dying decided to purchase this machine, what a disappointment. This upright cleaner is bulky, heavy to maneuver about and doing the general cleaning or dusting as it comes along is not possible. Subsequently, I have purchased the 20' tube and hope this helps stretching to odd places and wall items. The self propel is not as expected, there is still allot of pull and push involved! Moving this machine up or down the stairs is beyond my abilities without a strong man to be handy!! NOT RECOMMENDED !!
