Summary: I would buy another, it has been very helpful for my allergies and my dogs allergies :) . We were only looking for a fan but decided to knock out too problems with at once. Glad we did it and my husband doesn't remind me about expense, thank goodness.

Strengths: Variable 3 speed fan, ionizer, washable pre-filter and HEPA filters, oscillates, energy star item, and is very quiet.

Weaknesses: No on/off for ionizer.

Summary: I'm not sure about the other comment on here about this product. I just bought three separate air purifiers, two Honeywell HHT-090 and because these two were so loud I bought a Honeywell HFD-120-Q. My plan was to keep the two 090s and the 120 but after noticing the difference in the two models I'm taking back the 090s. They are obnoxiously loud and unbearable. The 120 is remarkably quiet. I actually have to check to see if it's on. I have a 090 and the 120 in a living room dining room split area and the 090 howls while the 120 whispers. The 120 does oscillate where the 090 does not. The style is not much different but the accents are just enough to make it look better than the 090. The only problem I see so far is that it doesn't give you the option to turn off the ionizer. I have read some people don't like it but I think it makes the house smell fresh.

Weaknesses: Very loud even at lowest speed, does not oscillate.

Summary: This is a nice looking air purifier which looks like a vertical fan. The unit takes up little floor space. When the ionizer is used the room has a very fresh scent. The fan is very loud even at lowest speed and therefore unsuitable for a sleeping area. At the highest fan speed you do not want to be in the room! Air blows directly out the front and must be carefully positioned not to come right at you especially if you keep the room temperature low in winter time. Not recommended.
