Strengths: Compact, nice customization options, doesn't shake violently like the washer, extra low heating setting.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This dryer has been fairly good - it doesn't get too hot when he dries, so that is nice. It has an extra low heating setting, which is probably like what low "should" be, and it has several quick touch- up settings, which is nice, as well. I'd recommend the dryer rack, which you can get for discount from a coupon in the dryer, which is great for sweaters, hats, and such. That is only $20. Nice pair.

Strengths: large capacity, quiet, fast drying, easy-to-use, good set of features, stackable
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: Bought the washer/dryer pair for an excellent price at a black friday sale. Have no complaints about this dryer. It's very straightforward to use. It has basic, practical features: wrinkle-shield, automatic moisture sensor, various moisture settings. It drys a load of clothes in about 30 mins...I'm not sure if that has more to do with the fact that I'm using the matching front-load washer or not. But for once, I'm actually waiting for the washer to finish instead of the dryer. Overall, great buy.

Strengths: Large capacity, moisture sensor, wrinkle guard, Whirlpool reputation for reliability
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: We purchased this dryer as a pair with the Duet Sport washer. This dryer replaces a 22 year old Kenmore (which still works fine, by the way). Just about any dryer will work OK, but there are several features on this model that make life so much easier. At 6.7cf, this dryer easily holds a full load of laundry. There are 6 automatic cycles, 3 timed cycles, heavy duty cycle, normal cycle and delicate cycle available at the turn of a button on the front panel. So just about every situation is covered. What we really like using is the moisture sensor settings- this senses the moisture content of your cloths and adjusts the drying time automatically. Saves energy and much hassle. The dryer beeps to notify you that the load is done. No more running down to the basement to check if the cloths are dry! Cloths come out perfectly dry and (mostly) wrinkle free.Another very useful feature is the "wrinkle shield". If you know you can't unload the dryer right away, this intermittently tumbles the cloths (for up to an hour and a half) to keep them from wrinkling. Works great! As stated earlier, we purchased this as a pair with the Duet Sport washer. The dryer will stack on top of the washer (which we did) and saves space. They can be put side by side as well if you want to use both the machine's top for a "counter" area. I know several retailers that sell a mat that goes on top of both machines for a seamless counter area. One last thing, this dryer is quiet (at least compared to our old Kenmore). That's really not a big deal for us (ours is in the basement), but desirable as some people may put this closer to the living space of their home.
