Summary: The filter is easy to use and install. It is pricey considering it only lasts 6 months. It was easy to find one, as they are the same as whirlpool, kenmore and kitchen aid. So shop around and get the best price. Found at sears, best buy, home depot, so you can use coupons to reduce the cost.

Summary: The filter works very well and makes the water taste very good. The cost of the filter is makes it prohibitive to replace as often as specified. The filter does the job and was cheaper than any of its alternatives. This is why I bought it and I am glad I did.

Summary: This is an excellent fridge filter. It produces very fresh tasting water. The down side is that you are supposed to replace it every six months and the cost is pretty high.
