Maytag freezers offer dependable, energy-saving frozen food storage. ENERGY STAR- qualified for lower utility bills, the chest model MQC2257 has 21.7 cu. ft. of room to handle up to 545 lbs. of food. The exterior-mounted temperature control lets you adjust the temperature without losing any cold air; the EvenFreeze food preservation system gives food maximum protection. The counterbalanced lid with grip handle is easy to open; inside, an interior light and two removable baskets make items easy to find. For durability, the smooth interior liner is rust and impact resistant; the textured steel cabinet and lid resist dents and fingerprints to stay looking good. A keyed lock helps keep the contents secure -- and when it's time to defrost, the covered drain allows water to flow out for easy disposal.

Rating: Time with product: 9 Months Strengths: It is large Weaknesses: Another Lemon by Maytag Summary: What a Lemon. Purchased it and 4 months the compressor went out. Then 3 months after getting that fixed it quite working again. Maytag consumer service rep are rude and do not intend on ever replacing the product or giving you money back. What a waste of $650 plus all the food that was spoiled over $1500 worth. I am going to write and tell everyone I know what a terrible company they are to deal with and what a inferior product they make. Basically and expensive box. Hope this helps someone else thinking of purchasing this piece. |
