Summary: I purchased the Brother CS6000t Feb. 2007 as I was approaching shoulder surgery. I knew I wouldn't be able to lift my other machine. I loved this machine so much I recommended it to friends and it was a ripple effect. I started writing down first names of people I knew who bought it based on my recommendation....30 names are on my list. Is this a good recommendation or what!

Summary: The best thing about this machine is, the buttonhole maker....So easy, and it works well everytime. So many sizes to choose from also. I have just started sewing again after a lull of about 25 yrs. I bought a sewing machine table to put my machine in, with 2 cupboards and a place to put everything. I'm going a little crazy...Making shirts for my husband and son and grandson. Next I will do something for my daughters. Boy! will they be surprised.

Summary: I have and would recommend this machine again and again. I suggested the purchase to both my Mom and my Aunt and they have both purchased the machine. I found the machine easy to use and very lite to carry. The durability comes with the accident I had when carrying my machine. I had taken a class at a local craft shop for a table runner it was wet out and things were a bit icy. I have about 5 steps to climb to go into my house as I was climbing the steps I slipped while carrying my machine. I set my machine on the top rail of my porch to catch my balance and unfortunately it went over the side of the porch and down to my asphalt drive about 6-7 feet. I was devastated and you would have thought that a close family member has passed on the way I carried on. My husband came in from hunting and found me a wreck he suggested we try the machine. I know what you are thinking how can it possible still work that is what I was thinking as well. The case is currently taped together with clear packing tape but the machine never misses a stitch. I think of my brother sewing machine the same as a Timex watch keeps a licking and keeps on ticking. I since have purchased the SE270D embroidery machine to compliment my sewing room but continue to use this machine and still love it as much today as the day I purchased it.
