11 Cup, 768-Watt, White

Rating: 9 9

This Cuisinart food processor holds 11 cups of ingredients for processing. It is by far the most popular of the Cuisinart processors, because, for one thing, it appeals to the serious cooking artist. Regardless of the recipe, the quantities, the type of ingredient--the Cuisinart DLC-2011 performs superbly. Naturally, the Cuisinart DLC-2011 chops, grates, slices shreds and mixes. With the 11-cup work bowl, it is an ideal size for kitchen prep jobs. This popular Internet appliance can make fast work of the toughest, largest recipes. Perhaps the most outstanding feature of this impressive machine is the feed tube, which is the largest on the market! With the ability to feed large chunks of fruits or vegetables, pre-cutting is minimized. Prep time is reduced and the final dish is on the table faster. New Design The Cuisinart DLC-2011 has a streamlined design that makes it easier to clean and assemble. Of course, the standard stainless steel blades that fit other models come with this newer version also: a chopping/mixing blade, and shredding and slicing disks. As with all Cuisinart food processors, you get a how-to video and excellent recipes.

Time with product: 10 Years

Strengths: A great machine; have had one for over 10 yrs; continues to do a great job....this one, I just bought, is for a gift

Weaknesses: A bit time consuming to wash it, but, still worth the effort for the job it does

Summary: This food processor is great for the occasional cook right up to the nightly 'chef extraordinaire'. I'd recommend it to anyone. Easy to use; durable, not a 'counter hog' either. The price is just right for most households. I, myself, consider this machine to be an absolute must in any kitchen.

Strengths: Large feeding tube- cuts down on food preparation!

Weaknesses: Parts don't always snap into place- always have to make sure that every attachement is on all the way (not always abvious)

Summary: Overall easy to use and very versatile. The blades and attachments are very convenient, however I wish it came along with a blade storage container. Having a large feeding tube opening really simplifies the food preparation.

Strengths: Powerful and quiet.

Weaknesses: Bread kneading is less than desired.

Summary: So far I'm very pleased with this processor. it really does a nice job and is very quiet while it works. The claimed amount of dough it can knead is for white bread only. It can really only "knead" a very small amount of whole wheat dough. Overall I think it's a very good machine.

Time with product: 2 Weeks

Strengths: Powerful motor, large capacity, sharp and efficient blades/disks, 10 year warranty on motor

Weaknesses: No storage for blades/disks included with food processor

Summary: This is an excellent food processor to have in the kitchen. It cuts back on tedious tasks like shredding, slicing, and chopping food because it does it quickly and effortlessly. Even though Cuisinart makes quality products that last, this model comes with a 10 year warranty on the motor. The only problem is that the storage for blades/disks is not included, so that would have to be purchased separately. Either than this, there are no problems with this product.
