Strengths: Quiet, multiple cycle options, frugal with water, great capacity, gentle on clothes

Weaknesses: Door can't be reversed

Summary: Our loads, which are full of sporting items, come out clean and gently handled. Drying is quick. There are options for loads under 40 minutes and options for longer times for loads needing more cleaning. Being able to get big, bulky items clean is huge for us.

Strengths: Quiet, looks nice

Weaknesses: smell, not enough water in cycle, cleans poorly, poor customer service dept.

Summary: I have had this model for 1 year now and I have found it to be a huge dissappointment. The washer doesn't use enough water in my opinion and leaves clothes dirty unless you wash a very small load. I have noticed a LARGE decrease in efficiency during the year.

Strengths: Quiet, effecient, very clean clothes.

Weaknesses: Motor faults anytime you put a large load in it.

Summary: Large loads (not "full capacity") will fault the motor. You have to unplug the washer for a few minutes to continue. In itself, that may not be too bad, but LG's technicians tell me that it's normal.

Strengths: Very quiet,sanitize cycle, energy efficient, spin cycle removes enough water to reduce time in the dryer

Summary: I have always hated laundry, but not so much now. Ive been using this for 5 months and it has cleaned everything I've crammed into it. I like being able to wash comforters and blankets without them getting wrapped around a center pole or stuck under the agitator. With a very bad flu season in full swing it has been nice to have a sanitize cycle to get sheets, pillows and cases, and blankets REALLY clean. It doesn't use much water so I don't have to worry about it draining the hot water heater and using lots of electricity. This has been a fantastic machine. I highly recommend it. I also recommend the matching dryer, it dries the clothes in less time than it takes to wash them. You don't find a lot of dryers that can do that.

Strengths: Water efficiency, pretty looking, easy to use

Summary: We've had this machine for a couple of months and couldn't be more pleased. It uses just enough water for the particular load and will wash most anything and get it clean. This machine is very quiet, too! I can go to sleep as it washes a load and not worry about it being unbalanced. It balances the load itself by turning one way and then the other until the load is ready for the full spin cycle and it then can really spin the water out.I didn't see the need to spend a lot more for the steam wash feature and the drawer units. The doors are large enough to reach into and move the clothes from one to another and having the tops free for folding is a bonus. The front control panel is very easy to read and customize, very neat machine.
