Summary: I have been using this dryer for 9 months and it still amazes me. It always completely dries one load before my next load is done washing. It senses when the clothes are dry and will reduce the drying time. I've had an overstuffed load of jeans dry in less than an hour, even the seams were dry. The only trouble I've had was in trying to dry only a couple of items at a time. (like your kids uniform you had to quickly hand wash and dry before racing off to school) The sensor has trouble with very small loads and will turn off too soon, but it has a timer option that allows you to set a specific amount of time for it to run. It has a cool down cycle that reduces wrinkles. The clothes are only wrinkled when I leave them for a few hours before getting them out. I bought the matching washing machine first (I highly recommend the washer) and waited a month before buying the matching dryer. I'm glad my old dryer broke so soon, this new one has been fantastic. I never knew what I was missing until I bought this machine. Laundry is a lot easier when you can have the first load folded when the next load is just finishing in the washer.

Summary: We moved into our first home and were looking for a front loading washer dryer combo. This was one of the few entry level combinations that was available in multiple stores. I was seeing that different stores (like Sears, Home Depot, Frys, Lowes etc) each sell different brands. I found this available in Home Depot, Frys and Lowes making it easier for me to price shop. Another incentive were the local utility (water and electricity) Apparently LG is new entrant in the washer-dryer field but i have found it to be really good. When it operates there isnt much sound, movement on the garage floor. It has nice big capacity and lots of options for drying. I have only fiddled around with a few options, but the available options should satisfy anyone.
