Bosch's inspiration for designing their Nexxt dryers is giving your laundry that feeling of having dried in the afternoon breeze. This thought process was so important that they decided to copy the sound. The dryers run at near silent levels due to a brushless, asynchronous motor and suspended brush system along with an advanced insulation system. Bosch designed their dryers for maximum versatility when arranging your laundry room with a reversible door to open at 180 degrees.

alokoko	Rating: 10 Time with product: 2 Weeks Strengths: Front loading, silent, intuitive user interface with LED screen Weaknesses: Price: This dryer is more expensive than many other washers (let alone dryers), dryer does not come with the necessary install kit. Summary: There are two main reasons of this purchase: Front loading and silence. After using a regular top loading dryer for many years, Nexxt 500 dryer comes in as a very nice upgrade. Now my clothes come out nicely dried with very little wrinkles, not to mention the fact that they are not torn at all. In addition, I can actually work in the same place (garage) while the dryer is working.The interface is simple but intuitive. There are three buttons for start/pause, delicates/low temp and signal. Next to this is the LED screen which tells you how many more minutes is left in the selected operation. I find this a nice change from the analog dial where you do not have much idea about the actual time left.Finally at the right are the indicator LEDs for lint filter, wrinkle block, regular dry, damp dry. At the bottom is the "drying" LED. The program selector dial at the right allows you to choose from many available options. using the LED screen (similar to the "remaining minutes" option), you can turn the dial and immediately see how many minutes each of these programs will take.As a final note, I would like to say that my preference would be the electric dryer, but I live in an older house so a lot of rewiring would be necessary to make the electric dryer work (electric dryer needs 30 Amps at 240V but gas dryer needs only 9 Amps at 120V).
