Rating: Time with product: Strengths: excellent graphics Weaknesses: sometimes looks similar to 2002's MK DEADLY ALLIANCE Summary: PROS: the biggest roster of kombatants ever, about 60 in all; even the obscure characters; if they have ever been in a Mortal Kombat game, odds are, they are included here; lots of new and deadly fatalities and death traps in the environments; includes MK RACING, a kart racing game featuring MK cartoon characters and also a KONQUEST mode, sort of like a beat-em up adventure game, but much better than the last one from MK: DECEPTION; better create-a-character mode w/ more options; create-your-own fatality alsoCONS: sometimes stiff and clunky gameplay; now only 2 fighting styles you can switch during fights, one empty-handed and one using a weapon (the last MK game had 3 styles to utilize); same graphnics and animations that didn't change much from MK DEADLY ALLIANCE |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Months Strengths: Large cast of characters, lots of unlockables Weaknesses: Kart Racing isn't that fun Summary: Mortal Kombat Armageddon is a Mortal Kombat fan's dream. It includes just about every character that has ever appeared in the franchise and all of them are playable. There is also a pretty good create-a-fighter mode if you want to whip up your own character as well. The basic fighting engine is very similar to Mortal Kombat Deception so you either enjoy it or you don't. The quest mode, while somewhat shallow, but reminded me a lot of Shaolin Monks and was a good tutorial for learning a little bit more depth in the fighting engine. The Kart racing isn't deep at all and you probably won't race more than a couple of races before going back to another mode. The sheer number of unlockables in this game is overwhelming and really adds to the replay value. If you are a Mortal Kombat fan, this is an excellent game that provides a lot of fan service. |

Rating: Time with product: 7 Strengths: Immense roster of characters, huge list of unlockables, very high replay value Weaknesses: Graphics look a bit dated, gameplay a little long in the tooth Summary: Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the last of the MK series to appear on the Xbox. The complete roster of MK characters is included in Armageddon, which gives the game some long-standing replay value, as does the immense list of unlockable items. Konquest mode is expanded a bit from Deception, which further adds into the replay value. The gameplay at its core is a slight evolution of past games, and the graphics, which look decent, aren't anything revolutionary. MK fans will get this game without question. |

Rating: Time with product: 2 Weeks Strengths: Every character in the series is here!!! Best MK ever. Weaknesses: None!!! Summary: This is one of the best Mortal Kombat games ever. If you like any of the pervious games then you will love this game. Its the end of what you know about the Mortal Kombat for the best 10 yrs. The next installment is said to take this game to new grounds. This game is a mixture of Mortal Kombat and a bit of Dragon Ball Z. The arial atacks or so freakin fun. I highly reccomend this game to you. |

Rating: Time with product: Strengths: Great Visuals, Enhanced Konquest Mode, Easy To Pick Up And Play Weaknesses: Poor Collision Detection, Feels Like Deception Summary: Hmm....when you hear mortal kombat what do you think.. Masses of blood and gore, hot women that could look at you and make your skin melt, or the fact that it has been a seller for at least a decade....Well whatever they were doing in this game they hit the mark...now only if the Konquest Mode was a little more in depth and didn't end so quickly. |
