Time with product: 2
Strengths: Has a fairly good library, doesn't take much time to install.
Weaknesses: Hard to move around in 3D mode; hard to correct walls; not enough materials in some areas of library (metals are just different shades of gray to black, seriously)
Summary: What you're getting for version 6 - being that encore is up to version 9 now - is pretty good. It is also the deluxe design model, not the deluxe suite- which in itself boasts of being the inferior product. And it is. A lot of the information on the cover of the box (the flaps, that is) is misleading, as it shows things that the superior version 6 can do, and images from it.I have yet to fully play around with it, and I'm sure that once I get the hang of the tools it'll be much easier, but just from playing with it the last couple of days, I can tell that it is definitely an older product, but it's good for what it is. Nonetheless, if I were to do it again with the knowledge I have now, I would undoubtedly spend the extra money on a more recent version.

Time with product: 2 Days
Strengths: Good software and good User manual. Easy to Use. Lots of Design Options. Comes with some other Mfg Promotions
Weaknesses: Takes time to load on my PC. Takes lot of Memory and needs a good Video Card to work with
Summary: This has been good so far. Used for only 2 days and loved it so far. Perfect for our Home Remodelling project. So far I didn't experience any PC crash (2 days use only). But once you work on this software, it pretty much takes up the memory (may be just my PC). The enclosed User manual is good and uptodate.

Time with product: 15 Days
Strengths: Ease of use, features
Weaknesses: Not perfect with some glitches that cause crashes
Summary: No problems with installation, started using right away. Is user friendly, several wizards to get you started easily. I did some research before purchase and this software seemed to be the best balance of features and price. I have encountered a few processes that lock up my PC and cause it to crash, but this is probably my PC configuration. I've encountered crashes with other software that require intensive graphics handling so I can't entirely blame this software.
