Time with product: 1 Week
Strengths: One of the best looking sub sims around
Weaknesses: Doesn't have Destroyer companion game that previous version had.
Summary: Been waiting for an update to the previous version for a while. Not many games of this genre is being published nowadays and it's to be applauded. Nothing beats playing a game like this to recreate that Das Boot feeling.

Strengths: Graphics is awesomeA nice campaign map as well as a full-color keyboard guide
Weaknesses: too much disk space
Summary: I started to play silent hunter when I was a university student, the silent hunter impressed me when I played it. After many years PRG gmae experiences, I purchased this silent hunter 3 and played it for several hours. Generally, I think the graphics is awesome and it covers German U-Boat operations in the Atlantic from 1939 until the end of the war. You can pick up the boat you want and it is quite flecible. It give am a realistic feeling that I am the operator to operate the U boat, and I like this feeling. However, this game take too much space, I believe it is beyond 2.5 GB. so make sure you have enough space when you install it.

Time with product: 1 Months
Strengths: Deep gameplay, graphics hold up
Weaknesses: Multiplayer would have been cool
Summary: The last submarine simulation game I payed was Silent Service on a PC Jr. Which meant I had no expectations and zero previous experience with how to play. Fortunately SH3 has a Naval Academy training section to guide you into the game. And even better, almost everything is customizable so you can make it as "real" as you want it to be. The graphics are still engaging, career mode provides tons of gameplay and the ai seems intelligent. I picked up this game because of the strong review from subsim.com and I was not disappointed even though I didn't really think this type of simulation would interest me.

Time with product: 5 Weeks
Strengths: Good grapics,plays well
Weaknesses: Have to load disc every time one wishes to play the game.
Summary: I purchased silent hunter III 33 days ago. I really liked the graphics and the way it performed. My complaint is that I must load the original disc each time I wish to play the game. I queried the company three weeks ago to see if there was something I did wrong in the installation. Was there anything I could do so I did not need to load the disc each session. Never received an answer or even an acknowledgement that I existed. No support no future purchases.

Time with product: 20 Days
Strengths: graphic
Weaknesses: starforce. no wolfpack
Summary: I hate to leave the disc in DVD-rom whenever I play the game. The disc gets scratch from time to time. But the starforce system forbid me from using a no-CD patch. I have already paid for the game. So why I cannot do it.
