Frigidaire's double wall ovens inspire your baking imaginations in everyone. The SpeedBake® Convection Baking System reduces baking time by a third without sacrificing flavor. The Convection Convert automatically converts conventional cook temperatures to convection temperature. The Hidden Bake Element is a tapered, porcelain plate protects the lower heating element making cleanup easier and safer. The EvenCook³? Element Convection System comes with a third heating element surrounding the fan. It's a European designed system that helps eliminate temperature fluctuations for foods that are juicier and more evenly browned. Speed Clean reduces cleaning time by 33% and Maxx Clean? increases cleaning power by 25% for heavier soils. Also, SpeedBake® Convection System cooks 30% faster than conventional ovens which is designed to provide a premium performance at a modest price. Finally, the Extra-Large Visualite® Window has a clear glass window that's 87% larger than standard windows which allows you to check the cooking progress.

Rating: Time with product: 4 Months Strengths: looks good, clean well Weaknesses: It broke down after one time Summary: I bought this double oven while we were remodling. After it was installed, the very first time I try to make dinner,it broke down on me. So far I am still waiting for a good repair guy to show up and hopefully will get it fix. The first repair man has no clue what's wrong with it.Frigidire said that I have to wait until on one can fix it before they can exchange another one for me. But, I have not even use it once and after 2 weeks still not fix. What a joke !!!!! |

Rating: Time with product: 6 Weeks Strengths: Convection in both ovens, Hidden Bake Element, sleek design Weaknesses: none Summary: When we purchased our new home, it came with a single wall oven -- but it was not a convection oven. Having had a convection oven in our last home, we knew we needed a convection oven. We shopped around for both single and double ovens and found that most double ovens come only with convection in one of the ovens. We decided on the PLEB30T9FC for several reasons. First, the exterior design matched our other appliances. Second, it came with convection in BOTH ovens. Third, the price was a lot less that the other models we were looking at. Although it has only been a couple of months, we have found nothing to complain about with respect to this oven. Everything we have baked in it has cooked evenly, and having both ovens convection is a definite plus. We are very pleased with our decision to purchase the Frigidaire Professional Series double wall oven and highly recommend it! |

Rating: Time with product: 1 Week Strengths: Price/performance mix is one of the best available Weaknesses: Timer only can be set in one minute increments Summary: After shopping for months for a double oven, I decided on the Frigidaire model. Very pleased -- it offers many features, such as convection on both ovens, quick pre-heat, no-smudge stainless (which really does work!), easy to use control panel, and two self-cleaning modes. Very quiet fan, large window, double lights - the list can go on. Baking/roasting performance is excellent. You can find all of these capabilities in other ovens, but not at this price -- this model offers the best price/performance mix out there. It replaces a much more expensive Dacor oven, and it performs better at half the price. According to CR, the reliabilty of Frigidaire wall ovens is excellent, so I'm looking forward to years of good service. |
