Strengths: it's really fun to play. you get rewards as you go for things like making 100 successful landings and so forth. Missions are fun.

Weaknesses: DO NOT GET VISTA!! every time i want to play, it eventually crashes on me. Not FSX's fault. It's vista's.

Summary: I would recommend buying rudder pedals and a yoke. It makes the flying experience so realistic. Joysticks are good but not good enough for those who are serious. a a

Summary: I bought this for my college-attending nephew for Christmas, who has been playing Microsoft Flight Simulators since 1995. He is quite pleased with it. He immediately noticed the ground movement (e.g., trucks on roads). My main worry, that it would be a resource hog that could not run reasonably on his laptop, turned out to be unfounded.If only Mayor Daley of Chicago had not illegally destroyed Meigs Field...

Strengths: Pristine graphics, and a wide selection of aircrafts.

Weaknesses: Requires more hardware than most high-end systems currently have.

Summary: It's another fantastic flight simulator from Microsoft. I enjoy flying with it, and enjoy the live weather feature, it adds a new twist to it; althought at the moment, because of the extreme system requirements, I don't think I'm reaping the full benefits.

Strengths: Great scenery and moving traffic on highways near airports.NEW GPS MAPS with depiction of airspace, and recognition of IFR only at some airports during challenging weather.New Garmin GPS.

Weaknesses: Requires a fast processor and lost of memory.Got 15GB of free space?

Summary: Nice upgrade from FS2002, much more included scenery. The gps in some of the prop planes is a nice upgrade from what I'm used to in FS2002. Be prepared to have some extra memory and hard drive space on hand when you install. Multi player mode is quite fun. Real world weather updates every 15 min
