Summary: ONE PIECE GRAND ADVENTURE is a third person fighting game for the Nintendo Gamecube. If u have played the previous One Piece game, ?Grand Battle? , then u will be familiar with this sequel . in a nutshell, it is basically the same game but vastly improved with more characters that can now support u in battle (like in Tekken Tag). Also , an adventure mode was added, in which ur character can traverse to different islands and fight more battles and accomplish further quests. U first start out with Luffy and fight ur way throught the islands, gaining experience points in which u can upgrade ur fighting abilities and make u tougher and faster. Each quest is basically a task fulfillment, in which u either have to beat up a guy or a bunch of guys, or break boxes, or perform other tasks such as snow shoveling and even racing. During the battles, u can call on help from ur crew, which can perform various attacks such as shooting projectiles or direct strikes. They can even provide health in the middle of baltte. There are other modes as well, like Training, Versus, Arena Battle, and others. The graphics are cel shaded and look like the cartoon , so overall , this is a fun game and I recommend it.
