Rating: Time with product: 14 Days Strengths: naruto, ninja tools, special attacks Weaknesses: horrible saving places, wierd camera angles, fight scenes are horrible. Summary: This game is awful, it is a naruto game, and that is the only good part of the game. The game's camera angle makes fight scenes akward and hard. The worse part is that you can only save in the beginning of a mission, so you can spend a long time on a mission, almost finish, and then die. |

Rating: Time with product: Strengths: Cool graphics, good action Weaknesses: Story is lacking Summary: Uzumaki Chronicles is definitely a fun game that should be played by fans of the series. Similar to Ultimate Ninja, the storyline is independent of the show, but it still assumes you know a little something about the characters. The graphics are excellent and the gameplay is about what you'd expect. Being able to kick a seemingly endless number of bad guys butts just makes the game that much more satisfying. Granted after you've done it to a few hundred bad guys, you start to get tired of the monotonous button mashing, but it doesn't get too bad. My only concern was the weak storyline that was presented in the game. I realize the game isn't going to necessarily have some epic storyline (they save those for the show), but something better than what they gave us would've been nice. |

Rating: Time with product: Strengths: Fun fighter/action title, easy to control, better than the first Weaknesses: Repetetive Summary: Uzumaki Chronicles is a fun fighter game that mixes Dynasty Warriors and Dragon Ball Z. The graphics are similar to the DBZ series, but the gameplay is similar to Dynasty Warriors in that all you do is mash the buttons until everything around you is dead. There are some stories/missions mixed in, but given the free roaming nature of the game, the missions can be done in different orders, and therefore don't lend a whole lot to the overall story. In the end I'd say that the game is fun for a couple hours but I wouldn't buy it unless you're a big fan of Naruto. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Days Strengths: Graphics, gameplay Weaknesses: Could be repetitive at times Summary: Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles is a great action game that capitalizes on the success of the Naruto anime series. Nevertheless, it's a great game on its own. You get to fight Ninjas all day and get different moves and power-ups along the way. The storyline is very much of an action RPG. You play as Naruto and make friends and team up throughout the game. All in all there are about 20 missions. Each of them requires you to complete an objective for the village. They rank from easy to difficult. You get different weapons by trading with one another. Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles is a worthy addition to your collection if you are a Naurto fan, or enjoy adventurous fighting games. |
