Rating: Time with product: 2 Strengths: Can transfer ps1 and ps2 game data to ps3. so you don't have to start over Weaknesses: does not work with all cards my madcatz card i had did not work with it. Summary: this is a good item for people who like to still play their old games with out having to start over from the beginning. Well it doesn't work with all after market cards it easy enough to get copy it to one of your cards that work with it. with the PS2 or one. |

Rating: Time with product: 3 Strengths: Allows reading and writing to PS2 memory cards, small size Weaknesses: Needs mini-USB cable for connection to PS3, should've been packed into the box from the beginning Summary: The Memory Card Adapter for the PS3 allows for the reading and writing of PS2 memory cards on the PS3. Originally, it was only usable for reading memory cards, though with FW 1.8 and later, data can be copied from the virtual memory card on the PS3 to the PS2 memory card. It's a very small unit, though it should've been packed into the box from the beginning at no charge. It needs a mini-USB cable for connection, though doesn't come with the device, using the one that is packed into the box. Overall, it's a useful device, though smarts a little that it wasn't included with the PS3. |

Rating: Time with product: 14 Days Strengths: Reads and Writes PS/PS2 data Weaknesses: Should have been built into the system; does not come with USB cable Summary: This device does what it says it does: allows users to store and retrieve PS/PS2 game data from their PS3. For my money ($600) this should have been part of the system, and not a $15 add on. It seems like a $15 fee to play your old PS and PS2 games. With a recent PS3 SW update, users can now retrieve data from the PS3 HDD onto a PS2 memory card (something not allowed in the past). This requires, but does not come with, a USB connection cable. Luckily the same one that came with the PS3 can be used |

Rating: Time with product: 30 Strengths: transfers all your data Weaknesses: might be a one time use Summary: this is a great product that will help you manager all your saves. i've used it once and it did wonders! you can even connect it to your computer and put saves directly onto it if you like. be aware that with the new ps3 update the saves will not erase on your memory card when transfer over. |

Rating: Time with product: Strengths: Makes transferring saves from PS1 and PS2 memory cards a snap! Weaknesses: too expensive! Summary: $15 for this adaptor is pretty sad, especially considering you will only use it one time. Regardless, it works flawlessly, aiding you in the transfer of saves from your memory cards to your console. Overall, if price isn't a factor, than its a must buy. |
