Rating: Time with product: 2 Strengths: More "outdoor-like grilling" flavor than non-searing unitsExcellent quality. Weaknesses: Grill plates not removable for cleaning. Can't handle jumbo meals like other George units. Summary: I've got a standard George grill with removable plates, which is good for most foods and larger meals. But if you want to sear your burger or steak, this is the unit to use without firing up your propane barbecue. Excellent flavor. And at $50 during a day after Thanksgiving Day sale, buying it was a no brainer. Cleaning can be a chore, unless you clean up by warming up the unit. Lost one star for non-removable grill plates. |
