Summary: GameCube 1019 memory card allows you to keep more of your game saves on the same card. It's about 4 times the capacity of the popular 251 card. With the 1019, I don't have to delete the old saves in order to make space for the new ones, and I only need one card which is always plugged in.Don't get the cheaper, third-party memory card. They are prone to data corruption and the last thing you want out of gaming is to have your hard earned game saves corrupted or lost. Pay a bit more for the official memory card.

Summary: The 1019-Block Memory Card for Nintendo Gamecube allows you to put many of your game saves on one memory card. I bought some third party memory cards and they became corrupted. I have never had any problems with Nintendo brand memory cards. I recommend that you buy the 1019-Block Memory Card.

Strengths: Holds a ton of game saves and is of great build quality. Only card you will ever need for saves because of its large storage space.

Weaknesses: None at all.

Summary: The be all and end all of memory cards for the Nintendo Gamecube. The 1019 card has (what do you know!) 1019 blocks available for every possible kind of game save. My experience with the card has done nothing but further strengthen my faith in Nintendo products. It is very durable and functions perfectly. I have never had the card randomly lose or corrupt data and I have never had to reformat it either. A top notch product.

Strengths: Big storage space for lots and lots of games.

Weaknesses: None.

Summary: This is one item that you should get for your Gamecube. I started out with and 8MB memory card and I filled it up very quickly. That is when I decided to get this huge memory card. Now I can save all of my games with ease without having to worry about filling up my memory card so quickly. Don't scrimp and get a card so small that you will have to delete game saves, you might otherwise have wished to keep. This happened to me when I had my smaller 8MB memory card. This is one purchase that is really worth my while.
