Strengths: Motion control works, lots of unlockables

Weaknesses: Graphics a bit poor

Summary: Super Swing Golf was an early Wii title and one of the first to capitalize on an obvious use of the Wii remote - swinging it like a golf club. The control here is OK (and there is a "classic" control scheme if you don't like it) but not quite what I'd want from a Wii golf game. The graphics on this game could use an overhaul as well. This is no better than an early Gamecube title (and Mario Golf on the Gamecube looks much better). For someone who can get into this game, though, there is a ton of challenge and a ton of unlockables, including the typical courses, characters, and costumes. The game is certainly enjoyable but hovers in that gray area between a serious golf game and a wacky arcade sim (like Mario Golf or Hot Shots Golf). There just isn't enough going on with the courses to keep a casual arcade-golf fan happy.

Strengths: Fun game, nice visuals, fits the family oriented style of the Nintendo Wii

Weaknesses: Learning curve can be a little rough; Controls can be rough.

Summary: Super Swing Golf on the Nintendo Wii was one of the first post-holiday releases for the system. The game does a good job trying to make use of the Wii controller, but it is clear the process hasn't been polished just yet. The game is fun, the visuals are slick, and the sound effects fit the mood of the game. However, that's where the highlights stop. Super Swing Golf's game play is a light rough on the learning curve (several of my friends who've played the game with us still can't figure out much of the specifics of hitting the ball perfectly) and the controls could be a little more responsive. It's not a bad game by any means. It might be worth the pick up once it drops below $30.

Strengths: Graphics

Weaknesses: Hard to control

Summary: I like Hot Shots Golf games (in PS2 and PSP) and thought this is a similar golf game (with nice cartoon characters....etc) but one can golf in real by Wii. However, it seems way too difficult to play "in real". Perhaps I am not used to the settings this game uses, it took me a long time to adjust. Even my friends who played Ponya(?) before admitted that it is a big challange to play on Wii. I hope to see Hot Shots Golf in Wii soon.

Strengths: Super Swing Golf is an enjoyable golf game for all ages.

Weaknesses: Super Swing Golf has no online game play.

Summary: Super Swing Golf does a great job of creating an enjoyable golf simulation for all ages. Super Swing Golf is a decent game that could have been much better if the developers took just a little bit more time working on the controls and working on the AI to make sure it doesn?t cheat as much as it does. Even though this is the case with this game you will still find many hours of enjoyment.

Strengths: ?

Weaknesses: very poorly done golf game, from startup thru game play.returned it to Blockbuster the same day as I rented it.

Summary: I love the feel of Wii sports golf, it only has 9 holes and no variations of play, but it's fun. Rented this with hopes of expanding the fun and play, different course, match play, ect.... I was totally frustrated with controls and game play. Hopefully Tiger Woods golf will be MUCH BETTER
