Rating: Time with product: 4 Days Strengths: Bootable CD --Easy to follow instructions as all Mac Software is noted for. Easy rebuilt of hard-drive safeguards to allow users to change their minds Weaknesses: Bootable portion of the process really slow -- almost as long installing the next OS, did not solve all errors on disk ASL Libraries. No defragment options Summary: Over all OK software there have been other software that has worked better, I bought another program that had more options including de-fragment of hard-drive and more overall options at a better price and overall satisfaction |

Rating: Time with product: 4 Days Strengths: Disk Warrior does help with speed and cleaning up prebinding and missing files. Especially if you did the Leopard upgrade it helps clean up non-synced items. Weaknesses: It does not fix all the holes in Leopard. Seagate/Maxtor still are not working correctly or at all after Apple recommended this 3rd party software. Summary: Seagate/Maxtor are not working ever since the Leopard upgrade. It worked fine on the older 10.4 and so did Disk Warrior. The newer version seems to have some holes that Apple is aware of, but do not mention it until it is to late. Disk warrior has been very helpful in the past. It just does not want to work with this newer version for the Seagate products. Segate/Maxtor were no help either. |
