Summary: What a wonderful small appliance! Much safer to use than a mandolin. Easily cuts vegetables. Does a great job grating cheeses, but not soft cheese. The three cutting drums (grate, slice, shred) change out easily and can be put in the dishwasher. The only job our mandolin has now is slicing tomatoes. Highly recommended. Comes in white or stainless steel. Search the web for a retailer selling this for $50.00, not necessary to pay more.

I traded my $200 deBuyer mandoline for this product and have not looked back. Get it for $50.00 or less with coupon at Bed Bath and Beyond.
