MLB 07: The Show delivers online baseball action the way it should be. The franchise now introduces the all-new Road to The Show mode, enabling gamers to play both offense and defense from the created player's perspective. With the Adaptive Pitching Intelligence (API) feature, catchers will call the game based on the individual strengths and weaknesses of each pitcher as well as analyze tendencies of batters. Gamers will now have the ability to either trust the pitches called by the catcher or shake them off. Online League Play offers customizable leagues with up to 30 teams, complete with full stat tracking, point benefits and rewards. The My Sliders feature allows users to create their perfect game settings and Upload them to the MLB 07 The Show Server for others to try out.

Strengths: A deep, rewarding game of baseball; So many things to do online and off; Road to the Show mode is so addictive.

Weaknesses: Can only appear on Sony systems.

Summary: Even with the $40 price tag, MLB 07: The Show offers up enough content to be worth a next-gen price tag. The game feels, sounds, and largely looks like a really solid baseball game. From the wealth of deep single player modes to the enticing online package, there?s really no reason to not pick up MLB 07: The Show if you?re looking for the best baseball experience around. Not since MVP Baseball 2005 has there been such a solid baseball game like this. Sony didn?t just knock this game over the wall; it?s out of the park.

Strengths: Balls actually move, less comentary, better songs and batters/batting are analyzed

Weaknesses: Swings are not always acurate and up to the minute rosters are not acurate ex: Chan Ho Park is not on the Mets and Ronnie Belliard is not on the Washington Nationals

Summary: Do not skip over this game, it is one of the best MLB games ever. Definitely do buy weather it is for you or a family member. The MLB games are getting better each year and so far this is the best.
