Strengths: Graphics, gameplay

Summary: Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is one of the best games that the PSP has to offer so far. It is a great platformer and shooter with great graphics and music. The deep gameplay offers a plethora of crazy upgradeable weapons and gadgets that add a new level of fun factor to the game. In other words, this game offers the same diversity in gameplay as the other R&C games (on the PS2 console) that has made this series great. Overall, this game is very enjoyable and should give you hours of fun. It's so addicting that you don't want to stop.

Summary: Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters is one of the best games on the PSP. It has great graphics and music, and excellent game play. There are lots of weapons with purchasable upgrades and power-ups, as well as mini games. I picked this game up with a high expectation since I have good experience with the R&C series on the PS2, and I was not disappointed at all. It got to be one of those games that you want to have with your PSP during a long trip. Pick it up!

Strengths: All the classic R&C strengths
Weaknesses: A bit short
Summary: You would never know that this game was made for a portable and not for a console. It plays exactly like the previous ratchet and clank games, and shows a level of excellence that we've come to expect. There are a plethora of different weapons to choose from, each with purchasable upgrades and which level up based on use. Those of you familiar with the franchise will recognize many of the items and weapons, or at least their functional clones. The majority of the game has you controlling Ratchet as he jumps, shoots, and whacks enemies with his wrench. As with previous R&C games, you also will play certain missions as clank, commanding a hoard of bots to accomplish your goals. There's also hover board racing as well as many challenging mini games in the collaseum, all of which will earn you bolts and equipment. The only downside to this game is that it's a bit shorter than I would have preferred. The difficulty isn't very high and it's possible to breeze through the game in a relatively short period of time. Of course, there is a good amount of replayability if you want to gather all the weapons and level them up. After you beat the game, you can replay it at a higher difficulty, keeping all of your weapons and gaining the oppertunity to acquire super upgrades of them as well as previously unavaliable ones.

Strengths: graphics, guns, Clank
Weaknesses: none, maybe price
Summary: One of the best games on the PSP overall. Great platformer/shooter, deep gameplay and excellent music and graphics. Of course, as expected, there are lots of variety/craziness in the gun department. Guns that shoot bees, lasers and shells add to the fun. They are also upgradeable which gives the guns a different twist. You?ll eventually find one that?s your favorite. This is a real enjoyable title every PSP owner should own or at least play through once.
