In Prince of Persia Rival Swords, the Prince makes his way home to Babylon, bearing with him Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the palace â?? only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast out on the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him.

Summary: Prince of Persia - Rival Swords is an acceptable game for PSP. Great graphics and action is all do you need to spend a lot of time playing, especially my son. A few characters make the game boring in some parts of the game. In my opinion, Prince of Persia is one of the better games story created.

It offered a compelling mix of fighting and platforming action in addition to a decent storyline. Now, you can relive the final part of the trilogy (toned down to a T-rating and dubbed "Rival Swords") on the PSP. Like the Revelations PSP port of Warrior Within, Rival Swords does a fairly solid job of bringing the prince to the small screen with most of his original adventure. You do get a handful of exclusive new sand portal levels, chariot races and a multiplayer mode. Of course, you still have to deal with occasional load times and sound issues. While Two Thrones remains a decent game on the PSP, you do make some sacrifices to have it on-the-go. Series fans may want to try this out for the new content, but most people will have just as much fun with the cheaper PS2 port. Look for it on clearance or used if you must buy as you can easily get through all of the new content in one rental period.
