Summary: I had this grill as a gift 3 weeks ago and we use it to make paninis in the mornings. So far we are happy with this product. It works great and you can feel the quality when using it.

Summary: I received this item a couple of weeks ago and have so far made several different types of sandwiches and an omelette. I had not previously owned or used any type of panini maker, so this is my first. I read previous reviews of various panini sandwich makers and this sounded like the best one to purchase. I was not concerned that it doesn't have the "grooves," as I was more interested in ease of clean up. The sandwiches all turned out well. The panini maker is very easy to clean, as other customers have pointed out. I would advise that if you cook omelettes, check on them right away, because if you blink, you might overcook it. I'm thinking that it might just be better for sanwiches. Overall though, I am hoping to get a lot of use out of this item, as it's easy to use, clean, and store....and so far, has made some very tasty sandwiches. I'm thinking now that I'll purchase a panini cookbook to get some more recipe ideas.
