LG Electronics pursues its 21st century vision of becoming a true global digital leader who can make its customers worldwide happy through its innovative digital products and services. LG Electronics set its mid- and long-term vision anew to rank among the top 3 electronics, information, and telecommunication firms in the world by 2010. As such, they embrace the philosophy of "Great Company, Great People," whereby only great people can create a great company, and pursue two growth strategies involving "fast innovation" and "fast growth." Likewise, they seek to secure three core capabilities: product leadership, market leadership, and people-centered leadership.

Rating: Time with product: 3 Strengths: Large capacity, quiet and easy to use Weaknesses: None so far Summary: We purchased this LG DLE2516 dryer from a local electronics store for $545 in conjunction with a LG 2016 front loading washer . It replaced a 20 year old Amana dryer. We have been using it for 3 weeks and it has been great. It has a large capacity, is easy to use and is nice and quiet. LG gets good reviews from Consumer Report so we are giving them a try. I hope they last as long as our Amana did. So far we are pleased. We also like that the unit has a drying sensor which can automatically determine when the clothes are dry. I also hope it is more efficient than our old unit so we should save energy as well as some $. |
